Laura Needs your Help.

Dear Veterans,  Adoptees, families created & separated by the War in Vietnam & all those who search:

A big warm welcome & hello to everyone from me & the website www.zyworld.com/saomaimsa.  I know it's been awhile since I've had any new or exciting things to share or offer.  However, this morning, after countless searches for utilities that I could utilize for little or no charge to create & build an online database to incorporate into our site, I found a wonderful site & tool!!!!

 For those who are religious, I believe God looks out after me & this site & helped me to create it and has helped me in my search for this utility.  For those who are religiously inclined - good fortune has smiled upon me & my site greatly. 

It is much humble thanks & gratitude given to all who have provided support, links, love & have shared their stories and lives & have searched together with me & others that I had the courage to keep trying to find things to add & incorporate into the site to make it work better.  Much appreciation to the patience shown while I got married & then got busy with other aspects of my life & temporarily got behind in my goal of the database. 

The database is NOT up & running - it has recently been discovered.  I am writing to request help from everyone as to what types of fields I should incorporate & use in the site.   

To our military people - your suggestions are so greatly needed to help ensure that as many fields as possible are incorporated to help ensure better performance of the database & perhaps one day in the far future - provide success with searches. 

To families abroad in Vietnam - the same request is made to help us define the best possible fields. 

And again to the adoptees & others who search for parents - please provide us with suggestions for fields.  A special request alongside with the request to those who are adopted - is to our affiliate adoption links who assisted in adoptions out of Vietnam - any advise to fields we should incorporate - greatly needed & appreciated. 

The utility I found is: www.quickbase.com.  I have chosen to use the predefined preset of a Personnel Office style database as that allows many entries, but will modify to our needs & perhaps ultimately create one from scratch.  As soon as I am able I will have this connected to the site & up & running & accessible to all to input their information.
