Dear Brothers;
At the last couple of regular meetings, the possibility of another fundraiser was discussed. It was decided we will have another fund raiser like the past ones, October at the LaPorte VFW Post 1130, from 6:00 PM till midnight with The Rock Doctors again providing the music. So, we will need item of value to put on the door prizes and tip boards. So it is never too early to start shakin the bushes, see what you can come up with. Bring any item to the regular meetings, which the next one is Wednesday, August 11, 7:00 PM at the LaPorte VFW Post 1130.
At the next regular meeting we have invited the Post 1130 Commander, Todd Burlingham, along with two of our members, Bill Griewank, who is Post 1130 Senior Vice Commander, and Dave Lantz, who is Post 1130 Quartermaster. We will discuss with these gentlemen the agreement between and Post 1130, whereas a fund is being established to maintain our monument in LaPorte Soldiers Memorial Park. Plan to attend this important meeting.

forget LZ SOUTH BEND August 13,14 & 15, at Howard Park in South Bend Indiana. I have attended this event several times and can attest it is a really nice event.If your annual membership card is not attached to this newsletter, one of the following has happened. 1, you are a life member and don’t get an annual membership card. 2. The card got lost in the mail. 3, our records are not up to date, in which case you need to contact either Paul Ewing or me. 4. You didn’t pay your dues.
