Zackowski, Edward F. SGT Erniezack@cs.com My brother was a hero he died in Nam 11-28-67 he was awarded the silver star bronze star three purple hearts with two oak leafs, the national defense service medal, the Vietnam service medal and the Rep. Of Vietnam campaign medal. I didn’t know him that well I was only 10 when died but I know he was a great man. Cause he served and died for his county. Let us not forget Sergeant Edward Francis Zackowski, casuality of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SGT Zackowski served our country until November 28th, 1967 in Tay Ninh, South Vietnam. He was 20 years old and was not married. Edward died from an undetermined explosion. His body was recovered. Edward was born on July 7th, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. SGT Zackowski is on panel 31E, line 002 of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year. |
